Bayville is a small village in Nassau County, New York. It is located on the northern shore of Nassau County, on the Long Island Sound. Its first residents were the native Matinecock people. The land was purchased in the 17th century and turned into farmland. Most of the produce was asparagus. Nowadays it serves mostly as a suburban residential community.
