Great Neck Plaza is a village in Nassau County, New York. It is one of the nine villages that are part of the larger Great Neck peninsula. The village is quite small, covering a total area of 0.3 square miles. Despite the small size, it is home to many stores, homes, buildings and even its own LIRR station. , the village population was estimated at 7,700. Great Neck Plaza is approximately twenty miles east of Midtown Manhattan. It is bordered by the villages of Kensington on the north, Russell Gardens on the south, Great Neck Estates on the west, and Thomaston on the East.
