Plandome, New York
Plandome is a village in Nassau County, New York. , the population was approximately 1,450. Plandome gets its name from the Latin word “Planus Domus” meaning “estate on the plain”. Plandome was incorporated in 1911 and is bordered by Plandome Manor on the north, Flower Hill on the east, Plandome Heights on the south, and the Manhasset Bay on the west. The village has a total area of 0.5 square miles.

Smaller roads connect Plandome Road and Brookside Drive, whereas Rockwood Road and a few small roads are isolated on the east side of the village. The roads in Plandome are patrolled by the Nassau County Police Department and all tickets are made answerable to the Plandome Village Court (Village of Plandome Justice Court).
