It is located east of the Village of Floral Park, south of the Village of New Hyde Park, west of the Village of Garden City, and north of the Hamlet of Elmont. The village is small, covering only 0.2 square miles. It consists of six north-south roads and six east-west roads., the village population was estimated at 2,000. The village is named after the Stewart Manor LIRR Station, located in nearby Garden City.
